Over the past decade, Alexander Shalom Joseph, MA, MFA has been immersed in both the practice and pedagogy of writing. He has published seven books, taught and tutored in MFA and Undergraduate Programs, Writing Centers, Writers.com, Literary Festivals, Libraries, Schools and Prisons. In addition to teaching, Alexander has worked as a Book Coach, Ghost Writer and Editor for many years.

Alexander’s teaching, coaching and editing style is inclusive, generative, and hinges on the belief that every person is already a writer and all it takes is encouragement, constructive critique and community for that writer to bloom. ​
